The EU Supreme Representative and the European Commission have already ordered to make a legal proposal. "In total, it is an amount of € 300 billion in the world, of which 200 billion euros are within the EU. It would be the most realistic percentage of these frozen assets. And we work at the legal level," Michel said.

We will remind that in the Ministry of Justice on November 2 reported that the European Union agreed a plan for the use of frozen assets of the Russian Federation in favor of Ukraine. In order for this plan to become reality, the European Union will have to change the legislation. The European Commission plans to voice legal proposals in December 2023.
