For the first time in history: in Zaporozhye Ukrainian drones destroyed the latest Barnaul-T air defense system (video)

To spread: the battalion of unmanned systems of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade struck the Russian air defense complex. The cost of lost occupational equipment is estimated at several million dollars. The activist and volunteer Sergey Sternenko reported in the Zaporozhye direction successful destruction of the Russian Barnaul-T control system.

According to him, the attack was carried out by soldiers of the battalion of unmanned Sons of Khors, which is part of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Transcarpathian Brigade. Sternenko stressed that this is the first recorded case of lesions of this type of equipment. He stressed that the Barnaul-T complex is able to interact with almost all anti-aircraft means that are in service with the Russian army.

"This is the first lesion of this recent radar that can interact with almost all hostile air defense means," Sergey Sternenko wrote. According to it, the cost of one such complex is from $ 3 to $ 6 million. Reference: Barnaul-T is a Russian automated air defense system at a battalion or brigade level. It is not an independent radar, but performs the functions of a coordination center for anti -aircraft units.

The complex collects data from different sources, analyzes them and distributes goals between units that have LAWs or low -range missiles. In fact, Barnaul-T allows Russian troops to identify planes, helicopters and drones faster, as well as promptly transmit data on them to those units that can intercept.
