There are more than one hundred crews in Ukraine that are not equipped with equipment and weapons for combat. Volodymyr Zelensky expressed confidence that the support of the Allies should also be aimed at the technical modernization of the Ukrainian army. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have more than a hundred military brigades that are not fully equipped with equipment and weapons.

On Tuesday, January 14, during a press conference with Germany Minister Boris Pistorius, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized, commenting on the proposals of partner countries to reduce the mobilization age to 18 years. "We have more than 100 brigades on the battlefield, and each of them needs completeness and equipment every day," Zelensky said, while the security component refused to report accurate data. He said that first of all, the Armed Forces units need armored vehicles and artillery.

"But in a large number of brigades, the equipment is constantly failing or needs repair," the President said, noting that all these requests are available to Ukraine's partners. Zelensky stressed that the Armed Forces servicemen should be well prepared and provided with appropriate weapons. "A person must be protected. Not just protected, but to have appropriate weapons and knowledge. It is what our partners should saturate the Ukrainian army," Volodymyr Zelenskyy summarized.
