The director of the Center for Combating Misinformation at NSDC Alexander Kovalenko has informed about it. "The Tupsin Refinery has been attacked. It is not the first attack. It is among the largest in the Russian Federation and has a processing capacity of about 12 million tons of oil a year. The refinery specializes in primary oil processing, producing direct gasoline, diesel and fuel fuel oil, much of which is exported," he said.
He stressed that this plant is of strategic importance for the Russian army because it provides fuel with the Black Sea Fleet and military infrastructure in the south. It is part of a logistics chain of fuel supply for military equipment and aviation. It should be reminded that on February 26, a seaport was attacked in Tuapse, which is an important logistics node for Russian troops.
