Iran's attack on Israel on October 2 can be the greatest blow to ballistic missiles in history

According to Spiegel journalists, Tehran has a minimum of 3,000 ballistic missiles - and even without the help of Hezbolla and Hussites. Iran's attack on Israel on October 1 is probably the greatest attack of ballistic missiles in history. Spiegel writes about it with reference to a military expert at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Fabian Ginz. The publication notes that Israel has been able to intercept 99% of the enemy drones and missiles.

However, during the last attack of Iran, it was possible to "overcome the multilayered missile defense of Israel. " "Probably, they made a lesson from April attacks and this time they relied on ballistic missiles," Fabian Ginz said. With reference to Tehran, the newspaper notes that during the attack on Israel Iran was first used hypersonic Fatteh-1 ballistic missiles. They are not hypersonic rockets in the classical sense, but have some characteristics that make them more "living".

The rockets have a radius of about 1400 kilometers with a warhead up to 450 kilograms. Parts of the weapon found in Israel indicate that Iran also used Hibar Shecane during the attack. It is an Iranian solid fuel ballistic missile of medium range that has a radius of 1450 kilometers. Like Fatteh-1, the rocket has a shunting body and is able to "outwitness of air defense". Due to its high speed, both rockets can fly from Iran to Israel in just a few minutes.

Although Israel was warned about the attack in a few hours, the air defense was not able to intercept all the missiles. The publication notes that the iron dome does not fit against such attacks. Journalists write that in total, Iran has at least 3000 ballistic missiles. Therefore, Israel has to prepare for possible future attacks and be ready for such attacks, especially if Iran is joined by the Lebanon terrorist organization "Hezbolla" and Husvit with its own arsenals.

We will remind, on October 1 Iran attacked Israel. Iran was expected to launch from 240 to 250 rockets with two waves for four purposes in Israel. Subsequently, it became known that almost 200 rockets were released during the attack. The Army of Defense of Israel was intercepted by most of the 180 ballistic missiles released. As a result of the Iranian rocket attack on Israel from the fragments of the rocket, one Palestinian was killed, two more people were injured.
