The occupiers destroyed the "New Post" depot: will they compensate Ukrainians for parcels?

Share: On the night of October 15-16, near Kramatorsk and Nizhyn, Russian troops attacked the facilities of the logistics company "Nova Poshta". As a result of the attacks, transport and sorting facilities were damaged, parcels and trailers were burned. Fortunately, no one among the employees was injured. The company has already begun the process of compensating customers for lost shipments. This was reported by "Nova Poshta". A kamikaze drone attacked a company truck in the Kramatorsk area.

After the impact, the trailer caught fire and the fire destroyed 132 parcels. The driver of the vehicle was not injured. The company promptly contacts customers whose shipments were affected and makes compensation payments. You can check the status of your parcels through the mobile application. This is not the first case of damage to the logistics infrastructure of "Nova Poshta" due to military operations.

In the evening of October 15, the Chernihiv region was also hit — in Nizhyn, the company's sorting depot and freight department were damaged. According to preliminary data, part of the cargo remained intact, but those parcels that were directly in the depot during the attack were partially burned. Currently, emergency services are working on the site: they are disassembling the debris, assessing the condition of the building and strengthening the damaged structures.
