"One of the priority tasks is to document the inhabitants of our new entities (temporarily occupied territories - ed. ). More than two million passports have already been issued to new citizens of the Russian Federation," the message reads. According to the official, during 2023 the employees of his body went on "business trips" in the territory under occupation in Ukraine. Agarkov noted that last year 716 police officers from Rostov were sent for such business trips.

Also, according to him, the Ministry of Internal Affairs Information Center in the Rostov region in 2023 registered more than a million inhabitants of territories under occupation in Ukraine.
