According to the guerrillas, movement often happens "chaotic" and is not coordinated. Atesh agents have reported that the Russian Armed Forces were trying to strengthen the security measures in the Crimea among Russian servicemen. "But on Earth, everything comes down to the fact that the equipment is transported back and forth without a specific plan and it is more like a panic to report the authorities about the measures taken," the guerrillas said.
In February 2025, the Atesh guerrilla movement reported that the invaders were transferred to the Crimean air defense forces to protect objects in Russia. According to the guerrillas, the command of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was aware that such actions would create critical gaps in the defense of the peninsula, but there was no other way out.
