President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has a telephone conversation with the President of the European Commission Ursula von Der Lyen. The Head of State thanked Ursula von der Liaen and the entire European Union for the 17th package of sanctions against Russia.   The rigid restriction of the Russian tanker fleet, which serves as the funding of murders, as well as all the schemes used by Russia to build the military industry, Volodymyr Zelenskyy called a step in the right direction.

Increasing pressure on Russia should motivate Moscow to go to a real peace. The President of Ukraine and the President of the European Commission discussed the preparation of the next, 18th, the EU sanction package, which will affect Russian oil, energy infrastructure, banks and financial schemes. The Head of State thanked the advocacy of strengthening sanctions and making strong decisions.
