The Secret Development of the Armed Forces: SBU detained the "mole" of Russian special services in Odesa region (photo)

On behalf of the Russians, the man had to obtain a secret documentation for the production of components for the latest auto equipment of the Armed Forces. For this purpose, the Russian intelligence agent settled in a local plant that executes defense orders. The SBU documented every step of the suspect, exposing him at the stage of recruiting the Russian special service.

As the investigation was established, from the first day of staying in the plant, the man tried to access the drawings and technological schemes for the production of spare parts to wheel machines. In particular, Crete was covered with his professional duties of the engineer and also tried to gain confidence from his colleagues as soon as possible. Moreover, the suspect played the role of a corrector. In particular, he helped the Russians "bypass" the air defense system of Odessa region.

To do this, Crete traveled the region and tried to detect combat positions of air defense and radar stations. The counterintelligence of the SBU has already detained a man and conducted comprehensive measures to protect the locations of Ukrainian defenders. During searches, a photo of the technical documentation, which he planned to pass to the Russians, as well as other evidence of the FSB, was removed from the "Crota". The agent was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art.

111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (State betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law). A man who is currently in custody is threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property. We will remind, the National Guard of Ukraine officially confirmed the strike of the Russian military on the landfill in Sumy region. As a result of the shelling of the military unit, 6 servicemen were killed and more than 10 were injured.
