Russia uses thousands of UAVs to find the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and coordinate the strikes of artillery on them. According to the expert, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation gained an advantage in the air, but the situation can dramatically change the British Auds systems that first appeared in Ukraine. Julian Repke calls Auds a "radio electronic machine gun" because it is much more powerful than conventional antironous rifles.
The system notices enemy drones at a distance of up to 10 km, and then with the help of a directional antenna "shoots" it with a powerful radio ray, which breaks the connection of aircraft with their control stations. According to the analyst to protect the entire front from Russian drones, the Armed Forces requires about 100 Auds systems.
There are now much less such complexes in Ukraine, so the military is only used in the hottest areas of the front, for example, in the area of the Antonov Bridge across the Dnieper. For the first time, the Auds Complex in Ukraine was shown by a military communicator Sergey Flesh, and he compared it with antitrone guns and called an "antidron-machine". The system combines a radar station, an e -scan antenna and a radio frequency generator.
It can accurately determine the type of UAV by signals and cameras, and then selects a frequency for suppression in the range from 400 MHz to 6 GHz. The system is so powerful that it can land the drone or make it hang in the air until the battery is discharged. Blighter Surveillance Systems, one of the developers, assures that Auds can work at any time of the day and under any weather conditions with minimal side effects.
