SBU cybersecurity experts saw a viral link in the phone found at the site of the Russian Federation in the Zaporozhye region. The same device came with the coordinates of the collection point. The hacker group from the Russian Federation used a phishin newsletter to establish the coordinates of the fighters of the 128 of the Armed Forces brigade in the Zaporozhye region. The person clicked on the viral link, and then the coordinates hit a ballistic missile.

Ilya Vityuk, the head of the Department of Cyber ​​Security, told the details of the special operation of the hackers of the Russian Federation in an interview with Ukrinform. Vityuk stated that the attackers on the Ukrainian military involved in the Hacker group "Armageddon". The attackers send thousands of reports with dangerous links to Ukrainians. During one of these newsletles, the soldiers of one of the Armed Forces were injured, ”the official said.

At first, they sent phishing links, and one of the ones involved in the brigade clicked on it. As a result, hackers were accessed to e -mail, computer, messengers on the smartphone.

At the same time on the smartphone stood a messenger of Signal, which came the coordinates of the point of collection of the soldiers of the 128th brigade of the Armed Forces. The enemy then launched a rocket on the coordinates: 30 Ukrainians were victims.

"In the course of the investigation of one of the attacks, during which more than 30 of our soldiers died, we found that one of the devices on which the Signal messenger was reported, a message was reported on a specific date and location Vityuk explained. It should be noted that the strike of the Russian Federation on the fighters of 128 separate mountain-assault brigade of the Armed Forces took place on November 3, 2023.
