Missiles for air defense and HIMARS: USA declared a military assistance package to Ukraine for $ 250 million

According to US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, additional means of mine will include additional equipment for mine, air defense missiles, ammunition for artillery and HIMARS systems, as well as more than 3 million ammunition for small arms. On Tuesday, August 29, the United States announced the allocation of a new military assistance package worth $ 250 million in Ukraine. This is stated in the statement of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

The new military assistance package includes various components, including: these equipment and weapons are intended to strengthen Ukraine's military potential and support its defense capabilities. Blinken's statement also mentioned more than three million ammunition for small arms, ambulances, blasting ammunition to eliminate obstacles, as well as spare parts, financing of services, training and transportation.

The US Secretary of State does not specify, but probably a new assistance package will be provided using the Presidental DrawDown Authority - that is, from the US army, which will accelerate its supply to Ukraine. We will remind, on August 24 it was reported that before the Independence Day of Lithuania sent a new batch of military assistance to Ukraine for 41 million euros.
