"We will not fall into the trap": The Foreign Ministry reminded the consequences of peace talks with the Russian Federation

According to Dmitry Kuleba diplomat, since 2014, Moscow and Kiev have tried more than 200 times to find a common language and have agreed 20 times about the ceasefire. All this was constantly broken by the Russian side. The peace talks between Russia and Ukraine are meaningless, as they have already passed in the past. All this has led to larger aggression. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Kuleb wrote about it on his page on the social network X (formerly Twitter) on November 9.

According to him, if Kiev now begins to negotiate with Moscow about the truce, then only again it will fall into the trap. Extra time will allow the enemy to pause before the next act of aggression. "In the period from 2014 to 2022, Ukraine held about 200 rounds of negotiations with Russia. During this time, 20 ceasefire agreements were reached, all of which were rapidly violated by Russia," Dmitry Kuleba wrote.

All of the agreements listed above, which were achieved through dialogue with Russia, did not prevent President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022 to give an order to invade Ukraine from different directions and even countries. "Those who claim that Ukraine should negotiate with Russia now, or not informed or misleaded, or they are on the side of Trap, " - summed up Dmitry Kuleba.
