The publication has received the information that ships will be named: Burza and Wicher are extremely important for the Navy of Poland. Both names are related to the destroyers built by France for the Poles. Orp Burza was built before the beginning of World War II. The ship passed the war and was in order until 1960, and then until 1976 was a museum exhibit. Orp Wicher sank in September 1939, but was named another ship that built the USSR with the same name. He was in the Navy of Poland until 1970.
A more complex story is related to the name Huragan. This name was scheduled for possible use on the Ministry, which was planned to be built in Gdin before the outbreak of World War II. These Minorists, conventionally named No. 5 and No. 6, were to be built on the British project, on the basis of which the ORP Błyskawica and ORP GROM Ministry were built. However, the beginning of the Second World War thwarted these plans. The decision to purchase three frigates was made in July 2021.
