The operators of the 14th separate regiment of unmanned aviation complexes (14 OPBPAK) of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the drone of the enemy radar complex of exploration and control of the Zoo-1 firing worth $ 25 million. Destroying this complex, the fighters of the 14th Opbpak weakened the enemy's ability to fight and defended Ukrainian units from artillery shelling. "Thanks to the effective operation of the operators of the 14th separate regiment, this mobile radar will no longer be used by the enemy to adjust the fire," the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized.

According to the Russian State Corporation "Roboronexport", 1L219m "Zoo-1" is a radar complex of intelligence and firing control used for counter-battery struggle. The system enables the occupiers to find firing positions of the Armed Forces, from where the RSZV (up to 22 km), artillery tools (up to 12 km), mortars (up to 17 km) work and tactical missiles (45 km) are launched, automatically determining their coordinates after shots.

The occupiers claim that one such complex can simultaneously detect up to 70 positions per minute and transfer their coordinates within 20 seconds after the volley, often before the projectile falls. The system also helps the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to adjust its own fire and tracking drones.

The zoo-1 complex includes a radar station on the MT-LB chassis, the maintenance machine on the Urals-43203 car for carrying out regulatory and repair works, power plant ED30-T230P-1 RPM1 on the trailer 2-PN-2. The radar itself is equipped with a phased antenna lattice and a high -speed digital computing system "CVS" with special software. In "Rosoboronexport" are positioned "Zoo-1" as a very "living" complex.
