The Russian Federation and Belarus will conduct a series of military exercises: whether there is a threat of a new offensive

The Ministry of Defense of both countries has announced the large-scale training "West-2025", which is conducted every two years. Meanwhile, the military planned six joint training during the fall. Some of the exercises will take place near the border of Ukraine, as it happened shortly before the invasion in 2022, reminded the media. The Russians and Belarusians will conduct a series of military exercises, some of which will take place within the "West-2025", some-separately, reads in the article.

Three joint events planned for September are listed: "Remuneration-2025", "Search-2025", "Escadrilla-2025". The training will be held in the framework of the organization of the Collective Safety Agreement (CDU), founded by Moscow. It is about teaching the forces of rapid response, intelligence and logistics forces. Dennce24 explained that Russian troops that have already arrived in Belarus are anxious to neighboring countries, as soldiers are not so defense as other scenarios.

According to analysts, one of the goals of such measures is not the attack, but a demonstration of force. "Structure, scale and geographical coverage indicate that they can also serve as a demonstration of power - both on Ukraine and NATO," the article reads. Among them are imitation of counter -air operations, offensive with the support of mechanized forces, active use of HRs, emphasis on communication and transport, mass involvement of reservists and mobilization of local authorities. Russians and Belarusians can arrange provocations at the border of Ukraine, and thus "will make Kiev spray their forces," analysts wrote.
