On that day, Ukraine returned 175 defenders, Russia also issued 175 invaders. Raisa Petrovskaya confessed that she did not know about the preparation of her son for exchange. She was called a cousin and said she saw the lists of Ivan. "But I didn't believe it. Then an hour later I called my sunshine and said," Mom, I am in Ukraine.
"This is a great joy that I still can't get off. Two days ago, on March 17, he was 30 years old. I prayed for my son every day," she stressed. The agency writes that Ivan Petrovsky was born in Brovary, Kyiv region, his parents moved to the Zhytomyr region. In 2015, he was called to conscript service in the National Guard of Ukraine, after its completion, he signed a contract and remained in service. Petrovsky moved to serve in Mariupol in the 12th Brigade of Dmitry Vyshnevetsky.
After the start of the full -scale invasion of Russian troops, he defended the city from the invaders. Ivan was captured in May 2022 and spent almost three years there, and he had health problems. It is known that it was first kept in Olenovka and then transferred to the Volgograd region of Russia. At home, Petrovsky was waiting for parents, wife, daughter and son.
