Moscow is ready for peace talks, but the victory will be for the Russian Federation - Putin

The President of the Russian Federation said that a "comfortable place" for negotiations between the warring states may be Saudi Arabia. The Russian Federation is ready for negotiations about the peaceful end of the war with Ukraine, but only on the basis of Istanbul agreements. However, the Russian Federation is able to continue the long struggle and win.

These statements were made at a meeting of the President of the aggressor country with Brix journalists on October 18, on the eve of the Casan Union Summit. Putin said he considers an acceptable platform for possible peace talks with Ukraine Saudi Arabia. "If such measures are organized in Saudi Arabia, of course, the place is quite comfortable for us. The question is not that. The question is to discuss," he said.

The Russian leader also noted that he was ready for a dialogue about peaceful settlement only on the basis of the so -called Istanbul agreements prepared in Turkey in 2022. "We are interested in ending this conflict as soon as possible and, of course, peaceful ways," Putin assured.

But already answering the following question about the assessment of the skills of the Russian military and the vision of a possible victory over Ukraine, the President of the Russian Federation gave a response, which was contrary to the previous statement. Putin stated that the Russian army became one of the most capable and high -tech, and Ukrainian soldiers seem to be resisted. "We are ready to continue this struggle. And the victory will be behind us," the Russian president said.

We will remind, on October 15, during a visit to Turkmenistan, Putin violated one of the local laws. He arrived in Ashhabad on a black limousine, which was forbidden by the regulations, because in Turkmenistan the black car is considered a bad sign. In addition, on October 9, the Kremlin Prescribe Dmitry Peskov said the media reported that Putin's probable telephone conversations with US presidential candidate Donald Trump is a "typical misinformation" in the context of the election campaign.
