The invaders used 76 air assaults - 55 rockets and 21 shock drone. The hit has been recorded in several regions. On the night of May 8, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked the peaceful cities of Ukraine with the help of missiles of different types and shock drones of the Shahd-131/136. This was reported by the Commander of the Air Force Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk in his Telegram.

"On the night of May 8, 2024, Russian invaders struck a combined strike with rockets of different types and UAVs," Mykola Oleshchuk said. According to him, the invaders used 76 air assaults, namely 55 missiles and 21 shock drones: fighter aviation, anti -aircraft missile troops, mobile fire groups and units of electronic struggle of the Office were engaged to reflect the attack.

As a result, 59 airy goals were destroyed, namely: Oleshchuk stressed that the Russians continue to attack critical infrastructure and other important strategic objects. The Russian military attacked the peaceful cities of Ukraine with the help of missiles of JSC UAP. According to Ukrenergo, the enemy attacked objects of energy infrastructure in Vinnytsia, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovograd and Poltava regions.
