"For Crimes": The officer urged to give the prisoners rehabilitated in the Armed Forces (video)

The Armed Forces officer and volunteer Miroslav Guy believes that it is necessary to take into account the desire and level of health of people who have committed mild crimes, to sign a contract for military service. It is worth rehabilitation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine to certain categories of convicts. The Armed Forces officer and volunteer Miroslav Guy on the air "Kiev 24" expressed his opinion, commenting on the possible mobilization of convicts.

He stressed that the number of people who can be drafted into the ranks of the Ukrainian army should be taken into account. According to him, the mobilization resource of Ukraine is much smaller than in Russia, but the Russian Federation is recruited in the armed forces of convicts from the beginning of a full -scale invasion.

"I think it is necessary to give the opportunity to rehabilitate yourself and send to the front by contract, first of all, people who committed mild crimes or have been committed inadvertently," he explained. Such people, in his words, should be given a chance to go to the front. Miroslav Guy added that the desire of such recruits and their health should be taken into account. On May 8, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted in favor of a law on voluntary mobilization of prisoners.

The lawyer Sergey Starina told, people who declare about the desire to go to the front do not feel good in the correctional colony and try to improve the situation. In April, the Ministry of Justice proposed to send citizens to the trenches with a criminal record with others. The approved wording of the law stipulates that the convicts may be fighting voluntarily. The head of the Ministry of Justice Denis M. Masus proposes to go even further and strengthen the requirements.
