The Armed Forces fighters destroyed several warehouses with BC, mortars and several units of BMP, and eliminated fifty invaders from the 72nd separate motorized rifle brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and Wagner PEC. This is stated on May 9 in the Telegram-channel "Georin from Azov", a post in which Maxim Zhorin, a major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, publishes. He told the details of the operation of the 3rd assault brigade in the southwestern outskirts of Bakhmut. As a result of the corresponding measures, fifty invaders were eliminated by the Armed Forces, which represented the 72 Brigade of the Russian Federation, as well as the Wagner MIC. Several BC, mortars and several BMP units were destroyed. Important positions are returned under the control of the Ukrainian forces. "As you can see, there is also a replenishment of the exchange fund," Georin said. The head of the so -called PEC "Wagner" Yevgeny Prigogin said he had lost 500 Russians.

According to him, this happened in connection with the escape of the 72nd Separate Rifle Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from the outskirts of Bakhmut.
