Latvia suspended an agreement with the Russian aggressor country about simplified trips

The Latvia authorities decided to suspend the Russian Federation Agreement on Simplified Trips (photo: marekssteins/pixabay. com) from Monday, August 1, Latvia suspended an agreement with Russia's aggressor country on simplification of trips for residents of border regions. About it reports DW. The corresponding decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers on July 14.

It is connected with the decision of the Russian authorities to close the Latvian Consulate in Pskov, which was the only diploma of Latvia, which issued border permission to the residents of the aggressor country. The Government recommended that the Government recommended the Government of the Seimas. The agreement on simplified trips of residents of the border areas of Latvia and Russia was concluded in 2010.
