The robotic machine is intended for mines and is capable, as noted by observers, to install up to 120 anti-personnel and anti-tank mines, in particular KPTM-3 and KPTM-4. At the International Exhibition of Arms "Army-2024", the Russian Federation presented the latest unmanned landing apparatus called "IMPULS-KPTM", designed to perform mine and explosive works.

This drone is equipped with 30 starting installations, each of which may contain mines, allowing you to install up to 120 anti -tank and anti -personnel mines simultaneously. This was reported on September 13 by Army Recognition. One of the key features of "IMPULS-KPTM" is its ability to towing vehicles and trailers, which greatly expands its tactical capabilities.

The machine can develop speeds of up to 10 km/h and overcome slopes with a slope of up to 25 degrees due to the engines with a total capacity of 20 kW, which allows it to operate up to four hours without recharging. The total mass of the device is 1 350 kg. Impuls-Kptm uses a radio channel to control and transmit video information up to 1,000 m in open terrain. And in the face of need, it can switch to an optical channel, providing control at a distance of up to 20 km.

Among the mines that can install this device-KPO-3, anti-personnel mines POP-3 and anti-tank mines of KPTM-3 and KPTM-4. The Mines of the PM-3 are equipped with seismic sensors to detect steps and scatter up to 1850 fragments up to a distance of up to 13 meters, which makes them effective in counteracting living force. Anti-tank mines KPTM-3 and KPTM-4 are designed to damage armored vehicles. The KPTM-3 mine weighs 8.

5 kg and is equipped with a cumulative charge that can punch armor, which is activated by changing the magnetic field. The KPTM-4, in turn, is equipped with a contactless igniter that responds to the magnetic fields created by vehicles. Both types of mines can be tuned to self -destruction after a certain period of time, which minimizes the risk of non -break ammunition.
