Already in Ukraine: the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation received the drone rocket "Valp-1" for interception of drones

To spread: Russian troops began to test a new drone "Valp-1" to combat Ukrainian drones. It can develop speeds of up to 310 km/h to catch up and knock down multi -purpose UAVs. This was reported by the TASS at the Center for Unmanned Competences, which developed the product. A representative of the organization with the call sign "Bars" called the tool "drone-rocket" and stated that they were still collected less than 100 units, but have already been sent into the war zone for practical tests.

The useful load of the device (probably referred to the fighting part) is 500 gr and is carried in a special case. SLP-1 can be returned whole and unharmed if the operator fails to find the target. In this case, it does not activate the combat part and controls the drone as a regular copy to land for reuse. This will reduce costs and increase efficiency. By its design, "Valp-1" resembles Ukrainian drones from the team "Wild Horne", which destroy the Russian shock UAV "Shahaned".
