The military journalist Andriy Tsaplienko wrote about it in Telegram-channel-said that it could be a plane of the 52 heavy aviation regiment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which participated in the launches of missiles on Kremenchuk, Uman and Dnipro.

The situation on TU-22 was commented on two experts-the military observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko and military expert Alexander Musienko. Kovalenko recalled that Ukraine has already carried out similar operations in the spring of 2023.

In particular, in the Bryansk region, the missiles released by Patriot, two Russian planes Su-34 and Su-35, as well as three Mi-8 helicopters of different types were shot down. In his opinion, the Armed Forces can reach a similar purpose, but it is worth waiting for confirmation from the General Staff. "Beat TU-22 in the Kursk region is quite real.
