"For some reason, they disappeared from radars": experts explained whether the Bomber of TU-22 of the Russian Federation was possible

The Russians were unlikely to knock down their own air defense bomber, experts Alexander Kovalenko and Oleksandr Musienko explained. Meanwhile, the unnamed representative of the Defense Forces reported that the TU-22 really disappeared from the radars and he did not know why. The network has reported the possibility of beating a Russian bomber Tu-22, which could be hit in the air over the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

The destruction of a hostile aircraft is really possible, since half a year ago, in similar circumstances, the enemy aircraft over the Bryansk region was destroyed. A group of experts analyzed the conditions for the RBC-Ukraine portal, under which there is a chance to hit the bomber of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The portal published screenshots on social networks, which referred to a possible confusion of one of the TU-22, which could participate in the shelling of Smela in the Cherkasy region of Ukraine. The military journalist Andriy Tsaplienko wrote about it in Telegram-channel-said that it could be a plane of the 52 heavy aviation regiment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which participated in the launches of missiles on Kremenchuk, Uman and Dnipro.

The screenshot does not show from which sources it is obtained. The situation on TU-22 was commented on two experts-the military observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko and military expert Alexander Musienko. Kovalenko recalled that Ukraine has already carried out similar operations in the spring of 2023.

In particular, in the Bryansk region, the missiles released by Patriot, two Russian planes Su-34 and Su-35, as well as three Mi-8 helicopters of different types were shot down. In his opinion, the Armed Forces can reach a similar purpose, but it is worth waiting for confirmation from the General Staff. "Beat TU-22 in the Kursk region is quite real. But it is necessary to wait for official messages and only then to draw some appropriate conclusions,"-said the military observer.

Musienko noted that Ukraine is tracking the flight of TU-22 bombers, which can climb into the air from the four air tabas of the Russian Federation-"Belaya" (Irkutsk region), "Dyagilevo" (Ryazan region), "Schikovka" (Kaluga region), "Olenia" (Olenia "(Kaluga region) Murmansk region). Everything is known about the trajectory of Russian aircraft, there is also information where they can be.

Therefore, it is possible to hit them at a time when they will be within the reach of the Patriot rocket - that is, 80 km from the Ukrainian border. "All the necessary information is. In principle, we can calculate and evaluate their capabilities. If we talk about Patriot, then they intercepts goals at a range of 80 km. " Journalists also asked Kovalenko and Musienko if the Russian air defense forces could knock down a Russian bomber.

Both experts doubt that Friendly Fire is possible - the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation accurately see planes on radars and cannot confuse them, for example, with drone. Also on the portal published a comment on the anonymous interlocutor from the forces of defense. The interlocutor noted that the TU-22 really disappeared from the radars, but he did not know why it happened. It is possible, for some reason, the forces of the air defense of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation worked.

"We do not know why these" that "disappeared from the radars," journalists quoted. It should be noted that TU-22 is a Russian bomber capable of running missiles of different types, in particular-X-22, to develop speeds up to 2 300 km/h and fly up to 13 km. The aircraft can run rockets with a distance of up to 600 km, and they should start at an altitude of about 60 km.

The Ukrainian command has not yet confirmed the fall of the TU-22 of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for unknown reasons. There is also no information in a specialized Russian channel that publishes information about the loss of Russian aviation. It should be noted that on December 29, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fired at Ukraine twice. The first shelling took place in the morning. The enemy released about a hundred rockets and dozens of drones-Kamikadze.

The explosions were heard in Sumy, Kyiv, Odessa, Lviv and several other regions. About 20 Ukrainians were killed from the Russian attack and more than a hundred were injured. In the afternoon there was a blow in the Cherkasy region. According to the military administration, 50 homes were damaged, there are injured. We remind you that one Russian rocket flew into the territory of Poland, confirmed in the Polish government.
