The Wingman 103 detector is able to warn the military about the approaching of the enemy drone, signaling it with sound, vibration, or with a bright LED. The Danish company Mydefense has transferred the Defense forces of Ukraine 100 portable detectors of Wingman 103 unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported by representatives of the company in a "militant" comment at the Defense24Days defense exhibition in Poland.

According to the authors of the publication, Wingman 103 is a "pocket" means of early warning about the appearance of drones. The device is constantly scanning the control frequencies and transmission of UAV video signal. It is designed to detect signals in frequency ranges of 2. 4 and 5. 8 GHz, on which mavic or Autel drones work, as well as a video image from FPV-aroma. Finding an enemy drone, Wingman 103 announces it with a sound signal, vibration or with a bright LED.

In this way, the military is able to leave the dangerous area or prepare the electronic warfare (HRB). Developers claim that Wingman 103 can detect UAVs at a distance of up to 6 kilometers, depending on the radio frequency environment. Its time using an external battery is 14 hours. The detector is adapted for use by special units and can work under all weather conditions. The apparatus is waterproof and resistant to shocks.

In addition, the device is quite light and compact, it can be worn attached to the belt or other equipment on the Molle belts.
