The Armed Forces lead with one hand tied behind the back, but move forward - Volker

According to the US State Department Exprecard, it is not necessary to expect a magical return of territories, because Ukraine has limited opportunities on the battlefield. The current results of hostilities can be called successful. Ukraine has to fight with the Russian Federation with one hand, which is tied behind the back, but this does not interfere with moving forward.

This opinion was voiced by the former special representative of the US State Department Kurt Volker in an interview with Radio Liberty on September 14. According to him, sometimes he feels a person who thinks differently, because he constantly has to argue with some people in the United States about the Ukrainian counter -offensive. They are waiting for a magical return of the territories in a short time, but this only indicates that they do not understand the nature of the conflict.

"First, Ukraine leads a counter-offensive with one hand tied behind the back. There is no advantage in the air, there are no ammunition for a long range, there are not enough ammunition reserves and it is still progressing. We would never do it. But Ukraine must do it" , - the message said. The second point that interferes with a rapid counter -offensive is the concern of Ukraine for its people. The Armed Forces Command is not going to "throw people in a meat grinder" as the Russians do.

During the cleaning of minefields, the Ukrainian military operate carefully and methodically, even if it takes extra time. "Clearing Minnie Fields, moving slowly to the next line. Doing it again and again. Destroying Russian chains of logistical supply of long range, fuel, ammunition, roads, railways, etc. Ukraine makes it very successfully and weakens Russian forces. Successful counterattack, " - continued Kurt Volker.

Such tactics will lead to complete liberation of the territories, but it takes more patience given the circumstances in which Ukraine has to fight.
