The border guards raised the flag of Ukraine to the high tower on the Russian-Ukrainian border. The fighters were here for the first time in more than 600 days of war. Ukrainian warriors have taken place in the village of Budarki, located on the eastern border in Kharkiv region. They reached the gates of the checkpoint, through which the units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the first days of the invasion were moved, and raised the Ukrainian flag to the highest tower.

Video from the scene was posted on the Facebook page of the 15th Border Detachment. The soldiers showed how they moved to the Russian-Ukrainian border. At first they moved the huts, then made their way through the destroyed settlement, in which the walls with the broken doors and a pile of bricks remained from the houses. Eventually they got to the checkpoint "Budarka" - part of the fence covered with barbed wire came into the frame.

Then one of the border guards unfolded the flag and began to climb the metal border - his actions recorded the drone. The flag of Ukraine was fixed on the highest mast. "Budarki is Ukraine!", - the defenders wrote on Facebook. The border guards were published on November 28. They also showed geolocation on the smartphone to illustrate where they were.
