In Kiev, work is underway to restore equipment after massive attacks of the Russian Federation on energy infrastructure. Experts have repaired more than a thousand units of equipment, which is 70% of the struck of hostile missiles and drones.

This was announced on Thursday, April 25, the deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA) Petro Panteleev. The official noted that the works are not stopped and are priority. As part of the preparation for the next heating season, a set of measures is planned, which will return the system even larger volumes of lost energy. Panteleev announced the start of hydraulic tests of the network.

"Unfortunately, this process is accompanied by the need to stop the supply of hot water networks for a certain period. But it is such tests to identify emergency pipelines and replace them," he said. According to him, despite the constant Russian missile attacks on energy infrastructure, the previous heating season was quite stable.

"Due to the systematic preparation of last year, including the full conduct of hydraulic tests and careful diagnosis of pipelines, the level of accident during this heating season has decreased by 15%. Therefore, this work justifies itself, and we will do it carefully," Panteleev said.
