Tolerance to the aggressor: Ukraine will not participate in UEFA tournaments with the Russians

According to the UAF, the decision to return teams from Russia to participation in competitions in the midst of the war, which the Russian Federation against Ukraine is groundless. The Ukrainian Football Association expressed its outrage over the UEFA decision to restore the participation of U-17 national teams from Russia in international competitions. In an official statement, they stressed that Ukraine does not intend to participate in the tournaments where Russian teams will be.

This became known from the UAF website. "UAF insists on preserving the previous decisions of UEFA and FIFA on preventing all Russian teams to participate in international competitions under the auspices of these organizations," the report reads. The UAF confirms its decisive position and announces that it will not participate in any competitions where Russian teams are present.

In addition, the UAF appeals to other UEFA member associations to consider boycotting future matches, in the event of teams from the Russian Federation, subject to their participation in tournaments. The statement also states that the decision to return teams from Russia to participation in the competitions in the midst of the war against Ukraine is groundless and showing tolerance for Russian aggressive policy.

"We strongly urge UEFA to revise this decision and leave the previous decision to completely remove any teams from the Russian Federation from participation in international competitions,"-said in the Ukrainian Football Association. UEFA decided to return the U-17 team from the Russian Federation to international speeches. Russian teams were allowed to play without Russian form and anthem, and play matches in a neutral territory.
