820-Automatic cannon developed by the Spanish company HISPANO-SUIZA during the Second World War. The system was replaced by the previous version of HS. 404 widely used. The Russian media suggested that the Armed Forces received the Yugoslav production systems that could put Croatia, Slovenia or Northern Macedonia. The former Yugoslavia in the post -war period was licensed to produce version 804. They were used mainly for air defense.
But the flexible gun system made it possible to provide fire support for artillery. The guns were used against techniques such as armored personnel carriers, armored vehicles, BMPs and ordinary vehicles. At the same time, due to the appearance of revolver guns, the Hs. 820 was no longer so popular for air defense compared to HS. 404. After absorption in the 1970s, hispano-Suiza Swiss company Oerlikon held a rebrand of all weapons. Hs. 820 was called as kad, that is, Kanone. D - marking the fourth model.
