To spread: formally three such ships of the 11356 project are in the service of the Black Sea Fleet, which are involved in the shelling of Ukraine Caliber missiles. The Kaliningrad Shipyard "Yantar" launched factory running tests of the Fregate INS TAMALA, the second ship of the project 11356, built for the Navy of India. The ship went to the Baltic Sea to check all systems and weapons. This was reported by profile Russian publications.

The Ins Tamala frigate was built on the basis of the Admiral Izumin ship under the Corps of the Russian Navy within the contract for the supply of four fragments of the project 11356 for India. After completing the tests, it will be handed over to the customer in June 2025, and he will become an eighth ship of this class as part of the Indian Navy. At the same time, the first frigate of the Inshil series began factory running tests in March 2024.

On December 9, 2024, the ship was handed over to the Indian fleet, and in February 2025 it arrived at Karvar's base. Commenting on the event, Defense Express reviewers noted that the 2018 contract worth $ 1. 2 billion for the construction of two such ships. Initially, they were intended for the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, but their construction had to be suspended because of problems with power plants.

Therefore, it remains unclear where Russia received the engines for Indian frigates of 11356, since Ukraine has refused to supply gas turbine engines M7H1 production "Zorya-Mashproet". It is also not specified which rockets will be placed in a universal vertical launcher (UNSU) for eight cells.
