Mobilization in Ukraine: The lawyer explained which of the men with obesity will not call the Armed Forces

Before the examination of the VLC, lawyer Andriy Mezhyrytsky advises to consult a civilian and get a conclusion about the presence of obesity, type and comorbidities. After that it is necessary to undergo medical commission at the military enlistment office and insist on a confirmation of the diagnosis. A military manner with obesity can be determined by unusable or limited to military service. This was reported by lawyer Andriy Mezhyrytsky.

According to him, in the Regulation on the Military Medical Expertise in the Armed Forces, approved by the Defense Ministry of 14. 08. 2008. No. 402, it is said that obesity diseases can allow to exclude or limit the possibility of conscription. In particular, there is a division into significant, moderate and minor impaired function. "It is from the attribution of the disease to significant, moderate or minor impaired function of mobilization during martial law," the lawyer said.

He noted that most often the HCP identifies men with obesity limited. Andriy Mezhiritsky advised to consult a civilian, undergo an examination, submit the necessary tests and get a conclusion about the presence of obesity, his type and associated illness. With this conclusion, you need to go to the VLK and insist for the medical commission to confirm the diagnosis. In case of disagreement, the conclusion of the VLK can be appealed.

We will remind, the People's Deputy, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fedor Venislavsky reported that men who will be recognized as limited by VLK can be sent to the combat units. According to him, re -passing the medical commission will remove corruption risks. Earlier, Venislavsky said that in Ukraine they do not plan to make a conscript age lower than 25 years.
