The frame shows the armor of Turkish production with a grate from FPV-oules. However, the supply of these machines to Ukraine was not reported. In August 2022, the Ukrainian Marine Infantry received the first 50 Kirpi armored vehicles from the Turkish Navy manufacturer, which in Turkish means "hedgehog". First of all, the armored personnel carrier is intended for transportation of personnel, protecting it from mines and fragments of artillery shells. In total, Ukraine received 200 armored vehicles.
The armored car is available in Kirpi 4 × 4, Kirpi II (4 × 4), Kirpi 6 × 6 and Kirpi 4 × 4 Ambulance. Kirpi and Kirpi II are equipped with special equipment such as an automatic fire extinguishing system, a tracking system to determine the place of shot or other weapon, as well as a system of chemical, biological and radiological protection. Kirpi II is also equipped with a tachograph, radio, driver's information system, inspection systems, and positioning and navigation system.
