Russia can fight against Ukraine for two more years - GUR

The Kremlin, according to the deputy chairman of intelligence Vadim Skibitsky, has military and economic potential, but the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is still unable to conduct a large strategic offensive in 2-3 directions at the same time. Economic and military resources remain in Russia to continue the war against Ukraine. Moscow can fight with Ukraine in 2023, as well as 2024.

This was emphasized by the Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadim Skibitsky in an interview with RBC-Ukraine on March 23. "They can wage a war on 2023 - maximum 2024 - all. If we talk about a conventional war. And if you strengthen sanctions, this stock will be even smaller," he said.

At the same time, Russian troops are preparing for the offensive: conducting intelligence and trying to identify the weaknesses in the defense of the Armed Forces. However, Russia is unable to conduct a large strategic offensive in 2-3 directions at the same time. Meanwhile, in the Kherson, Zaporizhzhya regions and in the Crimea, the invaders are preparing for defense. Currently, the main task of the Russians is to enter the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk region, Skibitsky said.

We will remind, in the same interview Vadim Skibitsky stated that talking that Russian troops intensified the offensive - the work of propaganda of the Russian Federation. According to him, the enemy has not left much, but the threat of offensive from Belarus can be forgotten for a while. For his part, the commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces Alexander Sirsky said that Ukrainian troops were going to attack the Bakhmut direction.
