The Armed Forces will receive the advanced Cerberus XL system: will help to knock Russian drones over Ukraine

Cerberus XL is a mobile platform that can track 100 enemy targets at once with a set of modern sensors. The well -known Teledyne Flir Defense thermal imaging company has signed an agreement worth $ 31 million with the Norwegian developer of Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace for the supply of Ukraine's mobile defense system to combat Russian drones, The Defense POST writes.

Within the contract, the Armed Forces will receive the Cerberus XL mobile complex and the spare parts, software and support services needed for its maintenance. C-UAS CERBERUS XL is a small radius of air defense (air defense) developed by Leonardo S. P. A. . in Italy. The system is designed to protect against drones, including drones-Kamikadze. The range of detection and accompaniment is up to 10 kilometers. The system is able to track up to 100 goals at the same time and has a modular structure.

Cerberus XL contains an advanced system of thermal imaging and visual image with highly sensitive radar sensors, which allows to quickly determine the location of the target and track the drones of the enemy. Cerberus XL is one of the most advanced air defense systems of the small radius in the world.

The Agreement is part of Kongsberg's cooperation with the International Fund for Ukraine, a global project launched by the United Kingdom to ensure the vital opportunity to support the country that is tearing the war in its defense against Russia, the newspaper writes. This is not the first post -free postage on the front of the systems of protection of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians from the drone of Russian invaders.
