Share: 86-year-old Stanislav Syrsky was recently discharged from a hospital near Moscow, where he was treated for brain cancer. And now he was taken to the intensive care unit again. The parents of Oleksandr Syrskyi, the chief commissar of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, live in Volodymyr. Syrsky Sr. has the first group of disabilities and the fourth degree of expressiveness of bodily functions. He does not get out of bed and fights with oncology, reports the Russian propaganda Telegram channel Mash.

It is reported that the father of the head of the Armed Forces, according to doctors' forecasts, has three months left to live. He was transferred to palliative care after being discharged from a hospital near Moscow. Now his wife and son Oleg and his wife take care of him. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky himself has been wanted in Russia since May 2023. Oleksandr Syrskyi was born on July 26, 1965 in the village of Novinky, Kirzhatsky District, Volodymyr Oblast, Russia.

According to open sources, the future general studied at the Moscow Higher Military Command School, and then graduated with honors from the Academy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Subsequently, Syrskyi received an education at the National Defense Academy of Ukraine. In addition, Syrsky defended his PhD thesis. He is a candidate of military sciences. Russian propagandists like to draw attention to the fact that a successful military leader who was born in the RSFSR ended up on the side of Ukraine.

Despite this fact, most of the head committee's life is connected with Ukraine. His service took place in the Ukrainian SSR and he remained here after the declaration of independence — he began serving in the National Guard, and then in the Armed Forces. His grandmother's house is located in the village of Novinky, Volodymyr region of the Russian Federation. In 2024, Radio Liberty journalists went there, but local residents refused to talk to them.

The Syrskyi family lived 5 km from the village, in the Kosterevo-1 military garrison, where the future general's father served. At one time, this military town was classified. In the USSR, the Central Officers' Red Banner Courses of the Anti-Aircraft Missile Troops were located there. After the collapse of the Union and until 2007 — the Air Force Air Force Anti-Aircraft Missile Forces Training Center. Oleksandr Syrskyi's brother works as a security guard in a local supermarket.
