The World Bank has invested in Ukraine for the first time since the beginning of the war

The World Bank has invested in Ukraine for the first time since the beginning of the war. The International Financial Corporation (IFC), which is part of the World Bank, has allocated $ 30 million for investment in Ukraine and Moldova. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. It is reported that the funds will be sent through a total amount of $ 200 million, under the management of the US-Ukrainian investment company Horizon Capital. The company will invest in fast-growing technologies, as well as export-oriented companies that work mainly in Ukraine and Moldova. It is noted that Horizon Capital is usually investing about $ 10-30 million in a company with a cost of about $ 50–150 million.
