Ukraine counts on the help of Latin America in the return of children deported by Russia: Daria Zarivna and Daria Gerasimchuk met with parliamentarians of Latin American countries

The peoples of Latin America have extensive experience in the fight for the rescue of children, and Ukraine counts on their voice in returning home by young Ukrainians, who were abducted by Russian invaders. Dariya Zarivna said this adviser to the head of the Presidential Office and the operating director of Bring Kids Back UA, Dariya Zarivna. Dariya Zarivna spoke about the initiative of President Vladimir Zelensky Bring Kids Back UA and called on Latin America to join work.

According to her, thanks to the efforts of Bring Kids Back UA managed to return home 1022 children. At the same time, Ukraine has information about almost 20,000 such cases of deportation or forced movement.   “I understand that you also had such experience. You have been able to turn this pain experience into a system of establishing justice and could heal these wounds of society. We really need your examination in this and your experience, ”Daria Zarivna said.

She noted that the Russians refuse to create humanitarian corridors, change the names of children and prohibit them in Ukrainian. There are also cases of forced mobilization of young residents of occupied Kherson region.   The Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets spoke about the crimes of Russian invaders against civilian Ukrainians: torture, rape and murder.

The Ombudsman of Ukraine also focused on crimes against Ukrainian children and noted that today 1934 children are considered missing. He called on Latin America to help Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. “Russia does not fight against Ukraine. Russia is fighting against all civilized democratic countries. If we do not stop this aggression in Ukraine, then the aggression will come to you, ”he said.

Advisor - Presidential Presidential and Children's Rehabilitation, Daria Gerasimchuk called on Latin America to disseminate information about Russians' crimes against Ukrainian children. “Russia wants to steal the voices of witnesses - those children who survived it, who know exactly what the Russians were told, how they treated them, and who survived the crimes committed by the occupiers.
