The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are preparing for the offensive in Donetsk region, but this may interfere with US assistance - ISW

Analysts believe that representatives of the Russian command realize that upon arrival of assistance from the event, their potential for the offensive will decrease, so the invaders try to consolidate offensive successes before the help of partners will come to the Armed Forces. The Russian army intends to seriously move deep into the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces northwest of Avdiivka of Donetsk region.

However, military assistance from the United States and Western Allies can limit such intentions. This is discussed in the new report of the Institute of War (ISW). Analysts emphasize that all the efforts of the Russians with the Division are concentrated along the Berdichi line-Novokalin in the northwestern direction from Avdiivka, as part of the mostly four brigades of the Central Military District of the Russian Armed Forces.

Experts believe that the Russian Federation has three tasks that complement each other: it is also emphasized that the purpose of these actions is to support the purpose of the operational level of the invaders to reach the administrative border of Donetsk region through exit to the city of Pokrovsk.

At the same time, the ISW emphasized that the Russian troops did not have enough time to prepare a wider breakthrough, because in the near future the Arsenal of the Armed Forces will be replenished with military assistance to European countries and the US in the event of a Senate's bill on additional appropriations.

American analysts say that representatives of the Armed Forces Command of the Russian Federation understand that the "window" of the offensive potential will close after receiving the Ukrainian army assistance from the West, so now the Russians are trying to consolidate their offensive successes.

Taking into account the development of events, the Institute of War Study expects that during the next weeks the Russian troops will continue to win tactical victories along the Berdychi line - Novokalin and other areas of the combat theater, waiting for Western assistance.

On April 22, DeepState analysts reported that Russian troops are not on the outskirts, but on the central streets of the village of Peryotine in Donetsk region, which is located on the northern flank of the Avdiivsky direction. In addition, the enemy may move deep into the remote streets. Focus also wrote that during the day of April 21, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reflected 16 attacks of invaders in the Avdeevsky direction.
