"We are watching this": Baiden explained how to "defend" from Western weapons in Ukraine

According to the White House Advisor John Kirby, the nuclear arsenal is reckless and meaningless, and that did not force the United States to change its position on Ukraine's support. In order for Ukraine not to impress or destroy Russian troops with Western weapons, it is enough for Russian President Vladimir Putin to withdraw its troops from the Ukrainian territory. This was stated at a briefing by the White House Advisor John Kirby.

"If Putin and Russian officials are concerned that their troops in Ukraine can be amazed by a weapon that has been made in other countries, the easiest way to avoid it is to simply withdraw their troops," Kirby said. He also responded to Russia's announcement using tactical nuclear weapons. He stressed that Washington carefully monitors this issue and called the "nuclear" rhetoric of the Russian leadership irresponsible.

"For the leader of the Great Nuclear State, it is simply reckless and irresponsibly clattering with a nuclear arsenal and hint at its potential use. Obviously, we are watching it now and continued to monitor it very carefully. I can tell you that we have not seen anything yet, even in spite of reckless rhetoric, which would make us change our position of strategic restraint, "Kirby said.

Recall that in the report of the American Institute for War Study (ISW) of May 6, 2024, analysts noted that Russia activates threats to the use of tactical nuclear weapons in order to force Western leaders to restrict Ukraine's military support, as well as to prohibit the use of Western weapons for strikes military objects in the territory of the Russian Federation.
