The military who will return until January 1 with the HCP will retain payments: the President signed the law

The law allows to return to military service to those military, who have opened criminal proceedings under Articles 407, 408 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Soldiers who have committed unauthorized abandonment or desertion should return to service by January 1, 2025. In this case, they will not lose their payments. The relevant bill on amendments to part two of Article 24 of the Law of Ukraine "On Military Duty and Military Service" was signed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

This became known from the Card of Project No. 12095. The Law provides that: Recall that the Verkhovna Rada supported these changes on November 21. After that, the document was sent for signature to the President of Ukraine. We will add that according to the DBR, the Ukrainian military, who for the first time left their units, began to return to the front instead of imprisonment.
