"Themselves faced": Armenia urged immediately to end the war in Ukraine

According to Armenian Foreign Minister, his country was a witness and "faced similar destruction in the Southern Caucasus region", so the Armenian people advocate for the territorial integrity of other states. The Armenian Government opposes the war in Ukraine and called for immediate termination of hostilities. This was stated by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a press conference with Estonian colleague Margus Tahknoy.

"We have seen the violent movement of civilians, the targeting of civilian infrastructures, etc. The war is always terrible, we are categorically against war, while at the same time we support not only peace and stability, but also the territorial integrity of the countries," Mirzoyan said. He also noted that Armenia herself witnessed and "faced similar destruction in the South Caucasus region.
