Key areas to strengthen the sanction pressure on Russia and prevent the supply of foreign production components to the Russian Federation: a meeting with representatives of the embassies of the Seven Group countries took place

Advisor - Presidential Presidential Policy Commissioner Vladislav Vlasyuk and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Kislytsia held a meeting with representatives of the embassies of the Seven Group countries.   The Ukrainian side informed about recent sanctions and preparation of new sanctions against Russia. Vladislav Vlasyuk and Sergey Kislytsya spoke about key areas that can significantly weaken the ability of the Russian Federation to finance their military machine.

These are the oil and banking sectors, as well as the shadow tanker fleet, including captains and ships. Separately, Ukrainian representatives stressed that it is also important to press the schemes of bypassing sanctions. Among other things, it was stated that Russia still uses components and materials that are supplied from other countries to produce weapons.

Only in September this year the Russian Federation applied 7313 drones and 270 missiles of different types against Ukraine, which revealed about 676 thousand components of foreign production. “Today it is extremely important for our partners to be aware of every microchip that finds itself in Russian weapons can cost human life in Ukraine. Strengthening sanctions control is not only a policy but also security and responsibility to the whole democratic world, ”Sergei Kislytsya emphasized.
