The Armed Forces left very few barkarians and now they have a different role - the opinion of experts

According to Western analysts, the invaders have learned to knock down these drones and now use them for intelligence purposes. If in the first months of the war Ukraine was very successfully applied by the Turkish drones of Bayraktar TB2, now there are few of them, writes Business Insider. These large UAVs were called "rescuers of Ukraine", but unfortunately, Russian invaders learned to cope with them.

After a year and a half of Russia's military aggression, the Turkish drones were almost completely beaten, and the remaining, according to the expert, were transferred to intelligence tasks. "Large drones such as TB2 work well in the conditions of weak air and electronic protection of the enemy," said Samuel Bendett, analyst and expert on unmanned and robotic military systems at the Naval Analysis Center.

"But as a relatively slow and low -flying UAV, it can be a goal for a number of well -organized air defense systems - we have seen it in Libya and Nagorny Karabakh. " Russia has rapidly pulled the level and number of HRS systems to the front and has been successfully knocking down and mocking many Ukrainian drones. "Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, Ukraine has received 50 TB2 drones, but by the end of 2022 they have virtually disappeared from the battlefield," the expert notes.
