"It is important that every such despicable attack on civilians be returned to Russia with concrete consequences - sanctions and real pressure. We expect that America, Europe, the countries of the Group of Seven will not ignore this desire of Moscow to destroy everything. We need new steps in pressure: on the Russian oil and gas industry and finances, secondary sanctions against those who sponsor this war," the president said.
He also expressed his condolences to the victims and thanked all those working for peace. According to the information of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces were under attack against critical infrastructure, which the enemy attacked with attack UAVs, as well as air, land, and sea-based missiles.
A total of 705 air attack weapons were launched: 52 missiles and 653 drones, including four Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, eight Kalibr cruise missiles, two Iskander-K cruise missiles, 30 Kh-101 cruise missiles, two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles and an Kh-31P guided air missile. Air defense forces shot down and suppressed 623 air targets. Direct hits of 16 missiles and 63 strike UAVs at 20 locations and downed debris (debris) at 19 locations in different regions of Ukraine were recorded.
