Ova stated that the energymen managed to partially restore the supply of electricity, but the damage was so serious that the consequences would feel for a long time. Emergency shutdowns were used in the region. Due to the night attack of Russian drones, the object of critical infrastructure in the Ternopil region suffered serious damage. This significantly affected electricity supply in the region, including in the city of Ternopil.

This was reported by the head of the regional military administration Vyacheslav Negoda on the air of the national telephone "Unified News". "The affected object of critical important infrastructure, which had a significant impact on the power supply of not only the city of Ternopil, but also other settlements of Ternopil region. After the start of the attack, after the defeat, we practically disconnected about 70% of the settlements of the region," he said.

Thanks to the operational actions of energy, it was possible to partially restore the supply of electricity, but the damage is so serious that the consequences will be felt for a long time, said Negoda. "We have been preparing for this situation. Now all objects of critical and social infrastructure work. Electricity on the schedule will still be a long time, "he added. Ternopiloblenergo has informed that all critical infrastructure has now been healed.

The mayor of Ternopil Sergey Nadal reported the operational situation as of 10:30 in the morning. According to him, work is continued on the complete restoration of power supply. Water supply and sewage systems operate. Heat supply is ensured by backup generators and main energy sources. Schools and kindergartens work. Buses in Ternopil run on schedule, trolleybuses are temporarily not operating because of a lack of stable power.

Residents of the city are advised to avoid the use of elevators even in homes where electricity was restored. The city has open heating points where they provide the necessary assistance. On the air of the TV channel "Kiev" Nadal noted that the worst situation in the city has now had in the city. Ukrenergo noted that through a massive attack of drones in the region, emergency shutdowns of electricity were introduced.
