Ukrainian winged Trembita rocket is ready to challenge Russian defense - the media

The rocket is favorable with economy - the estimated cost of construction is about $ 3,000, another 7 thousand are needed to equip it with modern navigation systems. Ukrainian inventors have developed a winged rocket that will be able to "overload" Russian air defense so that missiles with warheads are more likely to reach the goal. Our masters claim that Trembita rocket will be hundreds of times cheaper than Western analogues. This is stated in the report of French TV channel France 24.

Ukrainian engineers working in the project said that the main idea of "trembita" is to overload the enemy air defense systems by launching many rocket launchers. Thus, missiles with warheads will have more chances to hit the target. "Misses with warheads will have more expensive electronics to accurately strike targets.

But thousands of false goals will be very cheap: we want to overload the Russians's air defense so that our percussion missiles strike goals," the designer volunteer Sergei explained. This rocket is the creation of a group of volunteers under the guidance of the chief engineer of the project Yakim Kleimenov and former deputy Viktor Romanyuk. The rocket is known for its economy: the estimated cost of construction is about $ 3,000, which makes it a competitive alternative to modern analogues.

Putting about $ 7,000, the rocket can be equipped with modern navigation systems, which will further increase its efficiency. With a weight of 100 kg, the housing is able to carry a combat part of 20 kg, which can consist of a thermobaric charge or a combined shrapnel-foot charge. Having a flight range of 140 km and a maximum speed above 400 km/h, it provides flexibility when the targets are affected at different distances.

In addition, a rocket can reach a flight height of 30 to 2000 meters, allowing it to be used in various combat scenarios. Trembita is driven by a jet pulse engine and carries 30 liters of fuel using diesel or gasoline. Moreover, the absence of moving parts in the motor installation simplifies the processes of production and maintenance, which contributes to its economy. The compact size of the rocket allows it to be easily transported by placing in the trunk of the car.

It is possible to run a rocket with the help of pneumatic catapult or solid fuel accelerator, which provides flexibility when it deployes for the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Another feature of the rocket is its stunning 100 dB sound during flight. It is assumed that this will have a psychological impact on Russian soldiers. Currently, the project authors are preparing for further rocket tests at one of the landfills.
