It is noted that the Russian troops were captured by surprise, when instead of Western equipment they were attacked by the infantrymen of the Battalion "Aye" of UDA. 72 defenders from the Defense Forces of Ukraine participated in the assault. The main blow during the assault fell on the central headquarters of the occupation troops, located at a local school.
"They prepared the building for any attack, punching in the walls the passages between the classes to move without being firing," the publication reads. According to journalists, such tactics were resorted to IDIL fighters during the battle for the Iraqi city of Mosul in 2017. Deep trenches were dug in the floor, and machine gun holes were cut in the walls. The Armed Forces fighters used HIMARS and anti -ship missiles on the headquarters of the HIMARS.
The battle lasted almost three hours, and because of the threat of the environment, the invaders were forced to retreat. More than ten soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were killed and injured. Six people were killed in the UDA battalion. It should be reminded that during an attempt to surrender to the Ukrainian drone, a Russian soldier exploded on a mini, but he was saved.
